Bamberg, Germany

Bamberg, Germany

The beautiful city of Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, sits nestled in northern Bavaria. Intellectual powerhouses Hegel and Hoffman once lived there, the world-renown Bamberg Symphony Orchestra thrives there, and its tradition of lively beer gardens and superb local breweries set amidst charming, medieval-era architecture continues to this day. Seven hills surround the city and offer numerous opportunities for hiking. Overall, Bamberg is a superb, student-friendly city in which to immerse yourself in German culture and language while befriending both local and international students.
