Summary: Buenos Aires is the sophisticated, metropolitan capital of Argentina. Well known for its strong European influence, you’ll find plenty of colonial architecture and wide boulevards reminiscent of parts of Paris or Madrid. Wander the cobblestone streets of the artistic “La Boca” neighborhood, catch a Tango show, or explore the Museo de Arte Latinoamericana in your spare time! There are also ample restaurants, bars, music venues, and clubs to keep you well entertained and immersed in Argentine life.

Study abroad students in Buenos take classes alongside Argentine Students at the Universidad del Salvador, or USAL for short! USAL is one of Argentina’s most highly regarded institutions, characterized by its strong Jesuit values and welcoming atmosphere for international students. With a wide range of classes on offer across various disciplines, USAL  can be a good academic fit for most majors. Holy Cross students have the unique experience of living with host families in Buenos Aires. We have been working with our host families in Argentina for several years, and they are always excited to welcome Holy Cross students to their city!
